Frontend Engineer
Craft beautiful, responsive interfaces and great UIs.
You will build the interface people spend their time in: layout, type, states, and keyboard access. The bar is a screen that stays clear on a laptop and a phone, and that tells the truth when data is missing or late. React, TypeScript, and Tailwind are the daily tools. Visual polish matters, and so does the engineering underneath it.
This is product UI engineering. A static mock with no interaction states is not the job.
What you'll work on
- React interfaces with loading, empty, error, and success states
- Responsive layouts that hold up from a phone to a wide desktop
- Tailwind component patterns other engineers can reuse
- Accessible forms, dialogs, and focus management
- Front-end performance: less JavaScript, fewer layout jumps, faster first interaction
Requirements
- Production React and TypeScript
- Tailwind or an equivalent utility system used on a shipped product
- A portfolio we can click through, not only screenshots
- Care for accessibility and for what the UI does when the API fails
Nice to have
- Next.js App Router
- Design-system or component documentation work
